Iaido is the traditional Japanese martial art of drawing and cutting with the samurai sword. The purpose of Iaido is to develop awareness, centeredness, sincerity, a calm mind, and mental and physical harmony through the practice of traditional sword techniques.

Iaido is a rare and serious study not meant as a sport or light recreation.you will learn many complexities of managing the katana (sword) and eventually two swords. Meditation skills are also developed. Special clothing is required as well as the purchase of your own sword as soon as possible.

The focus is on relaxed concentration, Now! Class is on Wednesday evening.
