Crafts

Make these snazzy racing mice.

Unlike the poetic creatures that didn't stir the night before Christmas, these holiday mice are raring to go. Just place a marble under their walnut shell bodies, set them on a smooth, inclined surface, and they'll race each other to the finish.

CRAFT MATERIALS:

Felt
Glue
Scissors
Thread
Walnut Shells
Colored Markers

1. To make each mouse, fold in half small felt circles for ears.

2. Glue together the lower portion of each ear, leaving the back open. Glue the ears, a felt tail, and whiskers of thread onto a shell half.

3. Last, use a colored marker to draw on eyes and a nose.
